Friday, 28th July 2017 KUALA LUMPUR: The SPAD engineers have claimed the difficulties during early stage, land acquisition project tooks a long time in solving the issues. “The MRT project started [in] 2011, [the] total takes 6 years long for this whole project.” stated by Syazwan Faris bin Shamsudin, engineer of rail division in SPAD. In the statement, The SPAD discussed about the difficulty before the construction due to land position and also the sensitive area which is personal land, housing area and also kuil. They also stated the accident happened at Kwasa Damansara, structure hitted 3 foreign workers during construction thus it’s one of the factor that causing the progress of MRT project slowed down. KVDT project rehab since last year

Tuesday, 1st August 2017. KL SENTRAL: The operators of KTM have told about the KVDT project for the future plan, now is going in the first phase. “Kita tidak ada duduk diam, kita pun ada project sendiri untuk KTM demi masa hadapan,” stated by Zakaria Bin Ahmad, a Marketing officer of KTM. In the statement, the operators of KTM have discussed the future plan for Komuter Line. Klang Valley Double Tracking (KVDT) is a project that already existed at 1995. The purpose of KVDT project is to upgrade into the new track and make it faster from 90km/h to 140km/h. KVDT project has three phases so far yet, which is the first phase is Senawang to Salak Selatan, the second phase is Kuala Lumpur to Pelabuhan Klang and the third phase is Kuala Lumpur to Seremban. The first phase of this rehabilitation of KVDT project was officially started in August 2016. Sunday, 30th July 2017 Kuala Lumpur:  Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) has dismissed claims that several of its token vending machines (TVMs) at Sungai Buloh MRT stations are not working; all the machines are in good working order.   "We are indeed humbled and honoured by their overwhelming support. On behalf of Rapid Rail, which is the operator of the MRT Sungai Buloh - Kajang line, we would like to record our highest appreciation and thanks for the support," Prasarana said in a statement.  In the statement, Prasarana explained that tokens at the machines will need to be replenished; that would need some time to do it.  The statement also added that all TVMs are in good working order. It is just a case of need to replenish the tokens that had been purchased out by earlier customers. Prasarana also stated that they have a high turnout at Sungai Buloh station, and they believed that the additional commuters are coming from areas connected by KTM Komuter. They

KUALA LUMPUR: The public were satisfied about railway public transportation in KL sentral.  "The new card is really convenience especially for the students commuters." said by one of KTM user.  The new Komuter Link card received a great support from the public, because it was said that the card makes the users easier and not wasting their time for buying token anymore.  "MyRapid TnG card is very convenience so far but the only hassle that I have been having is when I need to top it up because there's only certain places where you can top it up." said by one of LRT user.  The public were satisfied with the new card but at the same time it was said that it is not convenience yet because the system is not completed.  "MRT is the best among all the public transportation that were provided, because it is more smooth and spacious." said by one of MRT user.  Base

Dato' Sri Najib launched the Phase 2 of MRT-SBK

Monday, 17th of July 2017 Prime Minister arriving at the #JomNaikMRT launching event. KAJANG: The Semantan-Kajang MRT was launched by Prime Minister Dato' Sri Najib Razak at MRT Station Stadium Kajang. The second phase of the 51km  Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) follows the launch of first phase of the SBK line which was launched on the last December by Dato' Sri Najib Razak. The second phase line  has 19 stations across 30 km which  runs from the Semantan station to the Kajang Station. Dato' Sri Najib said the line is a game-changer for the Malaysians and also for the tourists at the ceremony on that day. Dato' Sri Najib, her wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and with the other guests took the train that travelled to the Stadium Kajang MRT station where the launching happened right after the ceremony. Change the newest MyRapid TnG card for more benefits!

Sunday, 16th July 2017 The poster that informing the public of changing to new MyRapid TnG card. KUALA LUMPUR: The public was informed of changing the old MyRapid Card to the new MyRapid TnG Card on 14th of June 2017 at Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station. Prasarana Malaysia posted the information poster on every LRT/ MRT station's notice boards just to remind the public about old MyRapid Card to new MyRapid TnG card that would be activated on 16th July 2017.  The poster wrote that exchange period of MyRapid card is from 15th June 2017 to 15th July 2017 and the old cards are not valid on all RapidKL rail & bus services from 16th July 2017. For the normal MyRapid cards, customers can exchange them at RapidKL Customer Service Offices (CSO) at any LRT, Monorail and BRT stations, except at Abdullah Hukum LRT station. But for concession cards, including those for senior citizens, students and the disabled have to change their concession card at Pasar Seni Bus Hub Conces
